We can plan out some TI-84 games here. In a bit Ill post some of my ideas, a few I think could be big hits. And Im willing to help make them, since I already know some calc anyways.
Ive been thinking about doing multiplayer pong, to prove that realtime multiplayer can be done.

After that, probably some combo single-multi turn based, or single-ulti liveaction

These will all have improved graphics because Ill be using a couple of libraries that let me do sprites pretty easily (manette I sent you all the libs Ill be using - I just found a couple others)

In truth, we can now do almost anything, so throw out your wildest ideas for calc games here
Heres a bunch of ideas Ive had. Keep in mind titles are for convenience only.

War and Peace: Turn-based strategy game with 2-4 players. You control soldiers much like Risk, and attack, defend, build up ranks, ect.

Gala-Gal: A concept I had originally for a 3D game, you fly around space with Galaxy Gal (Gala-Gal) and collect Four Cosmic armor pieces to win. There is a time limit, which can be extended with star clusters. 1 player.

Toadster: Its Frogger, but with cars not logs and crocs. It would be 1 player.

Thief Master: You sneak around levels staying out of view of guards to steal a certain amount of money or a object.

Immortal GuardianTI: The original IG on the calc.

Tetris: Exactly that, maybe even two player.

Pong: Zulu originally suggested this, and Dajon mentioned it again. Always a good game to have.

Battleship: 2 player game like the original. Imagine sprite ships.

Blocks and Lines: Color in blocks by putting a line in each of its sides. Winner is the person with the most blocks. 2 player.
more than 2 players is impossible, unless theyre AIs.
More than one person to a calculator. Would be pretty easy since its turn-based. But yea, AI could work... depends. This is a hypothetical list, of course, so we dont have to do any of these. Just possibilities.
hm, true (but less fun - what do you do while someone else is taking a turn on your calculator?)

And yeah, I understand that
gala-gal= phoenix?

(spoof of galaga?)

toadster= pretty darn sure they have a frogger version with cars and vehicles

Ig would be cool, although it wouldnt look very good

Tetris= tetris (Already done)

blocks and lines (change name recommended)

pong...enough said (hellzyea)

Thief Master= wouldnt it be kinda wierd to play on a calc?

im also not too enthusiastic about taking turns on 1 calc
2 player games on two calcs are possible (those wont be switchy!)

And we CAN redo the clasics on the calulator if we do them better than everyone else :-)
Okay, maybe I should start using bold... THESE NAMES ARE TEMPORARY AND CHANGABLE!!!

lol... anyways...

Classics are a must. People recognize games like Tetris and Pong and want to play them. Doesnt matter that there are a 100 other games of Tetris out there, if we present it well, people will download them. Plus, we can use them as hooks to draw people to more original games that we make.

Gala-gal is short for Galaxy Gal, nothing like phoenix. I can see how that could be mixed up, though.
Most people arent going to have the time to hook up another calculator and play with 2-players.
