Gone are the days of boring deathmatches and good looking games that cost a bundle: Revenge 2 kills the competion.
Grab a few friends and play an old fashion game of free for all. There's no teams and winner takes all in this mode. With all the weapons and power ups you can get, Deathmatch is sure to keep your interest.
Tired of fighting off those hordes alone? Try Team DM and fight side by side with your friends. Of course, all of those precious kills go collectively to the team but in the end your efforts pay off. This mode can be set for balanced or unrestricted teams.
Defend your honor and your flag against that thieving Blue team. Or better yet, get out there and help your team steal their flag. With the options of beating down other players with the flag and dropping it when things heat up, CTF can be a lot of fun with six players.
Whoever controls the hill controls the game and everyone wants to control the hill. Be prepared to defend your territory against all odds as the players try their hardest to take you down. To switch things up, the hills can alternate depending on the map and you can even team up to take the hill by storm.
The Tactic Z is the handy and all purpose handgun that every player will carry with them. It has a long range and fast enough rate of fire to make up for the lack of fire power. With no end to the number of bullets you can pump out of this gun, the Tactic Z is the one friend you will have when all the other guns fail.
Jack Fantastic never leaves home with out his shotgun whom he playfully calles "Old Faithful." Without the need to pump out the shells, the Autoloader can fire quickly but only at a short range. This truely is a weapon with few flaws.
When "Old Faithful" cannot take a target down the Clusterbuster does the job. This double-barreled shotgun may have a slow rate of fire but it packs a punch! Of course, it shares the same shells as the Autoloader and uses two at a time, so be sure to watch your ammo.
For the far off and moving targets there is the MP70, a trustworthy sub-machine gun with a low power but a fast rate of fire. You can literally run and gun with this SMG, and you never have to worry if you missed the shot.
The new and improved chaingun does some serious damage to that crowd of people you're aiming to mow down. This gun fires far and fast and carries enough bullets to take down all your foes. Too bad it's so heavy that just carrying the gun slows you down
Sometimes you just want to stand thirty yards away and watch your opponent through a small, metal scope until finally the trigger is pulled and they fall to the floor. The Iron Eagle was designed for you in mind and is the only gun that can kill its target from across a map. However, there are only fifteen bullets in this puppy so use them wisely.
Like every good weapons aficionado, Jack Fantastic knows how to use his power tools. The Powerhouse chainsaw slices and dices anyone in its way, but players don't have to stop there. If anyone is unlucky to be close when you start up the chainsaw they'll be sawed in half. Talk about a close shave!
These powerups help you find that well-deserved revenge by giving you special abilities.
Like in the original game, the Revenge power up gives you the amazing ability of one-shot kills. Symptoms include overwhelming rage and heart failure. But use it fast because this power only lasts a short amount of time.
Kill your opponents without them ever knowing you were there. You may become completely invisible at first, but gradually the effect wears off &emdash; so don't get too cocky.
This power up may make you impossible to hit and allow you to make quick getaways. Of course, going fast also means you can't target opponents very well either.
When your health can only get you so far, Kevlar pushes your survival rate a bit farther. Before any damage even touches your health this power up will absorb the shock with 25 points per vest for a possible 50 points total.
The philosophy Revenge 2 is the make a fun, fast paced game that offers a wide variety of settings and choices for players, and these maps reflect that. Each map has the possibility of any combination of weapons, powerups, and game modes but we give you our suggested settings as the default. If you don't like our choices, change them.
A remake of the classic map Dumbbell from the original Revenge, Bunker is the most simple and straight forward map there. With three floors of a fallout shelter to fight in, two to four players will have a blast while five or six makes a crowd. Play this map to remember the good old days of DOOM and Wolfenstein.
